The Brief
Canvey Island is home to a bulk liquid storage terminal which is a strategic part of the United Kingdom’s infrastructure for fuel distribution. For many years the terminal has been undergoing major redevelopment.
Part of these works included expanding the storage capacity which required a new Deep-Water Jetty to be constructed to take larger tankers. As part of these works B&F completed the Design, Manufacture and Supply of GRP Enclosures and LV Electrical Equipment consisting of 3 Low Voltage switchboards including delivery and supporting site services.

Innovation in Indonesia
2014 saw 4 of B&F’s Univac installations being supplied to several shallow platform offshore wellheads in Indonesia. The Univac – FP installations, which provide the main power source for these offshore wellheads, were specifically demanded by our customers and sourced due to the suitability, as well as the many benefits these systems provide.

With various factors affecting the production and extraction of oil, Baldwin & Francis identified that there was an opportunity to benefit from a major investment in offshore oil and Gas by the UAE government via its operating company, ADNOC.
