Supporting you during your project
Baldwin and Francis supply solution equipment to areas where even a relatively minor failure can cause significant cost and disruption.
We build to a very high standard and design the reliability needed to meet your requirements. However, as with any product, regular servicing is essential to optimise efficiency and to ensure long lifetimes. Baldwin and Francis has always had a high reputation for service. Our team is a real mix of disciplines, qualifications and experience and that’s where our strengths reside.
About Baldwin and Francis Engineers
All our service engineers are fully trained, professional and highly experienced to support the specific application.
With a dedicated 365 24/7 Service team at your disposal, we can give you the peace of mind of having our Multi-Skilled Highly trained Service Engineers at your disposal.
All Engineers are qualified with CCNSG Passport to Safety, IOSH, MIST/BOSIET, COMPEX Parts 1,2,3 & 4.
For rail applications, we have a specialist trackside PTS / OLEC / DCCR approved team of engineers to carry out installations on the UK rail network.
B&F engineers are also fully trained with relevant certification to carry out service works on High Voltage (HV) equipment. Our Authorised person trained engineers experienced on all major equipment can provide full intrusive servicing, out of working hours as required.
This year, our engineers also started to provide Ultrasonic testing enabling a full non-intrusive survey of all LV / MV / HV switchgear, followed by a full report with pictorial evidence to highlight issue areas. This helps identify problems prior to critical failure such as insulation breakdown, corona discharge, high resistance spots and contact wear or failure. Previously B&F customers would have used other suppliers to conduct this testing.
We also off UPS / Generator servicing support and can support with maintenance on equipment manufactured by other OEMs.
Baldwin & Francis acts in accordance with all industry standards including RISQS and ATEX to ensure we supply a quality-based service solution. As we continue to expand our team , our skills and capabilities continue to expand so why not use the company who designed and built your system to maintain and support it.
