The Project
2014 saw 4 of B&F’s Univac installations being supplied to several shallow platform offshore wellheads in Indonesia.
The Univac – FP installations, which provide the main power source for these offshore wellheads, were specifically demanded by our customers and sourced due to the suitability, as well as the many benefits these systems provide. The self-maintenance element particularly catered for consumer’s needs as unmanned wellheads are becoming increasingly frequent in several countries.
The systems have proved effective, successfully powering the relevant systems and adapting to the American voltage infrastructure which has led to B&F completing similar projects across the globe with this technology.
